About the role:
This is an exciting newly created role and an opportunity for an experienced Senior Analyst – Financial Assurance to join our Retail Markets team. As you delve into the analysis, you will have the opportunity to utilise your abilities to strengthen processes and procedures. This is a full-time opportunity, reporting to the Senior Manager Financial Assurance.
Duties:
- Oversee accuracy and governance over all aspects of accrued revenue and gross margin recognition.
- Assist in the building of a new Accrued Revenue model
- Monthly reconciliation of accrued revenue to billing to cash including detailed reporting around unbillable balances
- Monthly reconciliation of general ledger to billing system and receipts clearing account
- Conduct analysis and highlight potential improvements in current systems and processes
Skills and experience:
- CA or CPA Qualification
- Proficient with computer skills, strong Excel skills to work with large data sets
- Have high attention to detail and an ability to communicate complex issues concisely
- Demonstrated ability to understand key business variables in a complex and changing commercial environment
- Team player, resilient and can operate effectively in a changing environment

It is an integral role within the organisation to reduce risk and assist in building a new accrued revenue model from our billing system and the ongoing optimisation of estimation techniques.
